INFANTS

The Infant Room houses children ages six weeks through one year. There is a 4:1 ratio in this classroom; primarily there are three teachers and twelve children at a given time. Children in the infant room spend most of their time learning in the classroom through teacher interaction, tummy time, social interaction with peers, and discovering the world around them. Occasionally the infants will have the opportunity to go outdoors while a teacher takes them on a walk around the playground. Included in your infant room enrollment/tuition is the choice to use the center-provided formula (Similac Advance) and food (stage one and stage two fruits and vegetables).

SUMMER PROGRAM

Our goal at GraceWay Children Academy is to develop a Summer Program where children enjoy summer fun, but also retains all the things they have learned throughout the school year. To be enrolled in Summer Program children must have completed kindergarten up to children entering fifth grade. Throughout the 10-week duration of Summer Program the children participate in field trips, see an on-stage performance and explore the wonders of science, participate in outdoor hikes and experience wildlife in person, and visit museums, play outside, and even ride on a train! While back ‘home’ at the center, children will participate in reading activities, celebrate hometown hero’s, give thanks and praise to those who make a difference in our lives, perform activities to support those in our area who would benefit from services, and so much more. Space is limited and is available on a first come basis; priority registration is given to Full-Day and Half-Day Kindergarten students, but this is not a guarantee of enrollment space.
